Routes of the Tour de France

The Tour de France is the largest and most exciting bicycle tour in the world - it regularly demands the greatest efforts from the participants.

The tour also visits our department again and again. Here we have collected these routes so that you can follow parts of them!

In the pictures you can see the routes and the profile of the stage.

Mountain Bike

Our La Clape mountain range offers a wide range of fun routes. You can find an overview on Trailforks, for example:

by bike through nature

The well-marked path "La Littorale" connects the center of Narbonne with the village of Gruissan. This allows you to cycle through an untouched wilderness and along the canals to the Lagoon of Gruissan or even further along the sea front towards Narbonne-Plage.

"La Méditerranée à Vélo" is part of a larger cycle path that ultimately runs 5900km through numerous European countries and connects Cadix in Spain with Athens in Greece.

In France, "La Méditerranée à Vélo" runs over 850 km from Perthus to Menton, some sections of which have already been completed. Narbonne is a stopover on the Béziers-Barcelona section.
